Paracetamol is an antipyretic and mild analgesic with few, if any, anti-inflammatory properties and no effect on platelet aggregation. It has no irritant effect on the gastric mucosa and can be used safely and effectively in most individuals. It is used for the relief of fever as well as aches and pains associated with many conditions.

Each 5 ml contains:
Paracetamol BP 120 mg
CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY
Mechanism of action of Paracetamol is not clearly established. It appears that paracetamol inhibits prostaglandin biosynthesis in the central nervous system but not (or hardly) in the peripheral tissues. In any case, paracetamol only has minimal anti-inflammatory action compared to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents.
